StrongSteps was built around a simple idea: people need more than programs. They need connection, information, resources, and people who will listen.
Sometimes they simply need help figuring out what the next step should be. StrongSteps brings those pieces together.
Someone may come to us looking for support. Someone else may meet us at a community event. A provider may make a referral. A volunteer may help at an event. All of those pathways connect back to one mission.
Behavioral health systems can be confusing. Programs, eligibility, insurance, applications, referrals, waiting lists, service areas, and a lot of terminology.
We don't expect you to understand all of that before reaching out. If you're unsure where to start, contact StrongSteps.
Our team can learn more about what you're looking for and help identify possible next steps. That may be a StrongSteps program, a community resource, or another organization. The important thing is starting somewhere.
People who have navigated behavioral health challenges, recovery, systems, and life transitions bring valuable knowledge to this work.
Peer support is grounded in connection, shared understanding, empowerment, choice, and hope. Peers don't take over someone's life. They help people recognize strengths, identify goals, build confidence, and take steps toward the life they want.
Lived experience isn't something we simply acknowledge. It's something we value.
We are behavioral health support. We are peer connection. We are resource navigation. We are education, community programs, partnerships, volunteers and supporters. We are people who believe communities can do better when people know where to turn.
