EVERY NAME MATTERS

Remembering Lives. Sharing Stories. Carrying Hope Forward.

Every Name Matters is a StrongSteps suicide-prevention and remembrance initiative created to honor people lost to suicide, support those who carry their memory, and encourage meaningful conversations about mental health and prevention.

Every Name Represents a Life

Behind every name is a person, a family, a friendship, and a community.

Every Name Matters was created to remember people as more than the way they died.

The initiative honors their lives while helping communities talk more openly and responsibly about suicide prevention, grief, support, and hope.

What Is Every Name Matters?

Every Name Matters is a community-based remembrance and suicide-prevention awareness initiative.

It connects memorial name submissions and remembrance stories with education and community support.

The Stories for Hope Shirt

The Every Name Matters shirt is a wearable memorial and suicide-prevention awareness project.

Each shirt may include the names of people being remembered through the campaign.

Together, we remember those we've lost, support those left behind, and carry hope forward.
